  • The Career - What it is:

    Apothecary Products (APL) is currently seeking an Account Manager to join our team. The Account Manager is responsible for planning, leading and executing plans to profitably grow sales and enhance APL’s business position within a variety of channels, retailers and distributors. Additionally, the Account Manager is an integral part of a cross-functional team that will actively support the development of business plans including but not limited to market penetration plan, product plan, pricing development, promotion plan development and management, regulatory compliance and operational support plans.


    In this role the incumbent will:

    • Develop new and existing retailer/distributor and/or broker relationships in assigned markets
    • Elevate APL partnership with brokers, distributors and retailers through quid pro quo negotiation, higher customer penetration, exhibited business know-how and successfully lead customers business
    • Partner cross-functionally to develop and efficiently execute profitable existing and new customer programs and product, pricing or packaging launches
    • Accurately forecast market distribution and volume within appropriate lead times. Provide customer specific new item and replenishment forecast information to internal teams
    • Prepare and deliver monthly, quarterly and annual management presentations to communicate progress versus plans, in accordance with company process

    Qualifications + Experience:

    We seek applicants with these critical skills and experience:

    • High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or related field preferred
    • 2-5 years solid work experience in sales or related fields with increasing responsibility; medical device or other regulated industry experience preferred
    • Experience with consumer packaged goods a must; medical device sales a plus
    • Experience with large, well known domestic customers as well as brokers, distributors and alternative channels
    • Proven market development across several channels and markets
    • Experience with regulatory matters in related categories
    • International experience preferred; multi-language a plus
    • Ability to travel 1-2x per month domestically
