  • Overview

    Apothecary Products (APL) is currently seeking a Machine Operator 1 to join our team. The Machine Operator 1 will accurately assemble Apothecary Products, LLC (APL) products within a specified production schedule. This role works collaboratively and effectively within a team to ensure that all daily, weekly, and monthly production goals are met. The general work schedule for this role is 7:30 am - 4:00 pm. 


    In this role the incumbent will:

    • Ensure a high level of quality on all parts and pieces by following specification sheets
    • Perform assembly and hand pack duties of a wide variety of pharmaceutical supply products according to customer specification sheets
    • Prepare products for shipment including: repackaging as needed; boxing and palletizing; and printing labels as required
    • Operate bagging equipment including verifying bag used, placing on machine according to process, and confirming seal of bag upon cycle completion
    • Assist Machine Operator 2 in the operation of other pieces of equipment including: blister sealing; bottle filling; and automated cartoning machinery



    Education: High school diploma or equivalent

    Work Experience: minimum 1 year solid work experience

    Preferred Experience: 1+ years of solid work experience in a machine operator role or similar

    • Must have the ability to exert yourself physically for an eight-hour shift; must be able to walk/stand for duration of assigned shift in intervals of 4-5 hours;
    • Position requires full use of arms and hands to reach overhead, forward and to sides;
    • See and communicate with sufficient capability to perform assigned tasks and maintain proper job safety conditions;
    • Must be alert and aware of surrounding for safety concerns;
    • Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. infrequently.
